The Emendatori family, with more than 40 years’ experience in the artisan ice cream sector, re-enters the market with Vayra, a company with a great tradition founded in 1905 that has built its reputation on artisan quality.
FROM THE FIRST SUCCESSES ONWARDS
Within a few years of its birth, the success of the business led the company to participate in numerous trade fairs, starting in 1923. First Paris, then London, Rome, Turin and finally Milan. During these events, Vayra 1905 gained visibility and prestigious awards that contributed to the consolidation of its success. In the meantime, the list of services offered has expanded and now Vayra 1905 boasts the production of the eponymous Amarena in syrup and an extended range of syrups for drinks made from fruit extracts.
In the 1970s, the company moved its headquarters out of the city centre and into larger premises that could guarantee the fluidity of its work – which had now grown considerably – and accommodate a new branch of the company, the one dedicated to the marketing of machinery and furnishings.

In recent years, Vayra 1905 has begun a process of renewing its image and the entire range of products in its catalogue. This ‘gentle revolution’ began thanks to a group of young entrepreneurs who realised the value of the tradition accumulated over more than a century.
